Big Red Sun and UpLift Austin are happy to announce the Seventh Annual Hello, Birdie! Gala and Birdhouse Competition. This unique gala and silent art auction will feature sustainably-themed birdhouses designed and built by Austin's most talented artists, architects and designers. The gala will feature an evening of delicious drinks, food and birdie festivities - a great way to kick off UpLift's second school year! The event will take place on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Big Red Sun, located at 1102 East Cesar Chavez.

Last year, the Hello, Birdie! Gala raised $13,000, sponsoring 235 students to participate in the UpLift program! This year, our goal is to raise $20,000 at the gala, which will contribute directly to student projects this school year. If you are inspired to help us reach our goal, you can DONATE HERE.
